FAQ    Weddings

1. How would you describe your photography style?

My style is a blend of documentary (candid moments), fine art (creative portraits), and classic (posed family and couple shots). I focus on authentic emotion, beautiful light, and timeless storytelling.

2. How far in advance should we book you?

Most couples book 9–18 months in advance. Prime dates, especially during wedding season (spring–fall), go quickly.

3. What’s included in your wedding packages?

Packages typically include:

  • Coverage hours (4–10 hours)

  • Two photographers (optional)

  • High-resolution edited images

  • Online gallery for viewing/downloading

  • Print release
Custom options like engagement sessions, albums, and rehearsal dinner coverage can be added.

4. Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes! Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and build rapport before the wedding day.

5. How many photos will we receive?

"I don’t put a limit on the number of photos I deliver—you’ll receive all the best edited images from your wedding day. I carefully go through everything we capture and include every meaningful, beautiful, and storytelling moment.”

6. When will we receive our photos?

Final galleries are delivered within 6–8 weeks. Sneak peeks are often sent within a few days after the wedding.

7. Will all the images be edited?

"Absolutely—all the final images in your gallery are carefully edited for color, lighting, and overall style to reflect the quality and consistency of my work. I don’t deliver any unedited or raw files, so you can trust that everything you receive is gallery-ready.”

8. Do you offer albums or prints?

Absolutely! I offer custom-designed heirloom albums and professional prints that bring your memories to life off-screen.

9. Do you work with a second shooter?

Yes, depending on the package. A second photographer helps cover more angles and moments, especially during large weddings or tight timelines.

10. What happens if you're unable to shoot our wedding?

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I’ll provide a trusted replacement photographer with a similar style and experience.

11. How do we reserve our date?

A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer of 500 dollars to secure your date. The balance is due 30 days before the wedding.

12. Will you help us with the timeline?

Yes! I’ll work with you and/or your planner to build a photo-friendly timeline that ensures everything flows smoothly and all key moments are covered.

13. Can we request specific shots or a shot list?

"Absolutely! In fact, I recommend designating a trusted friend or family member—someone who knows both sides of the family well—to help gather people and keep the shot list on track. This way, we can stay focused on capturing great photos while they help organize the group shots quickly and smoothly."

14. Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! I love destination weddings and am available for travel. Travel fees may apply based on location.
